Enhance entrance security

There are some ideas floating to enhance the security in the entrance to the building. This is a large project that will be tackled, if and when budget and timelines align.
Improve parcel delivery system

The lobby is currently used to store the parcels/colis that are delivered to residents. On Aug 2025 a table was put in place to better stock the parcels. The Board initiated some research about this and there are some other commercial options for electronic and secure access to parcels. Of course, there's a cost associated with these options and there's also a logistics issue of where to put the system. Depending on how the current table solution works, we could start looking more into these other commercial options.
Fire prevention - what to put in place
We are studying Quebec legislation and requirements:
to maintain the good and safe operating condition of the sprinkler systems, alarm systems, door closers and emergency equipment
to prepare an evacuation plan and procedure
to put together an emergency response team to help guide residents in case of an emergency
to inform residents with regard to the safety measures and evacuation methods set out
to see to it that, at least once a year, the appropriate fire evacuation and rescue drills are being conducted.
Online reservation system for BBQ area
An online reservation system will be developed to allow residents to consult all reservations and manage their reservations for the BBQ area in the rooftop.
